Policies
Payment
Students are requested to pay the full tuition, the membership and book fees (when applicable) prior to the start of the session. A $25 fee will be charged for “non sufficient funds” checks.
Cancellation
AFE reserves the right to cancel any group course if there is less than 4 students in the group class. In the event that a course is cancelled, AFE will offer students registered in the cancelled course the option a) transferring to another class, b) a full refund or c) a credit note.
Refunds
Tuition fees for group courses are NON REFUNDABLE, unless a student provides AFE with written notice that she/he intends to withdraw from a course at least 4 business days prior the start of the applicable session. An administration fee of $50 will automatically be deducted from the refund amount.
Please note that absence from class does NOT constitute notice of withdrawal.
Credit notes
Credit notes are valid for a period not exceeding 1 year from the last attended class.
Credit notes will be processed based on the number of remaining hours in the course once written notice of intend to withdraw is received by AFE.
Students are not entitled to a credit note for a course where a previous credit was used as full or partial payment of course fees.
Income tax receipt
Tuition fees are tax deductible according to Canada Revenue Agency; a tax receipt will be issued by AFE upon request at the end of the session/year.
