The free online test is a series of exercises
available online which we use to better understand your strengths and needs,
so as to recommend the course best adapted to your current level.
This 'placement test' is not compulsory but strongly advised.
This is one of the many ways we will help make your language learning experience with us truly successful and enjoyable.
The written test takes about 10 minutes to complete and is in 2 parts. You will then find here:
1. An initial self-assessment where you let us know what skills you can manage in French
2. A quick written test corresponding to the skill-level outlined by your self-assessment
Once you have completed the written test, you will be offered the option to send your production to yourself and/or the Alliance chapter of your choice in Bahrain, Canada, Ireland or USA.
In order to ensure a more accurate placement, this placement test
will be followed by a quick interview with a French instructor at AFH who will recommend a class.
