Every month our program UniversCiné features classic contemporary films which makes AFH unique in Halifax with its presentation of all French movies year-round. Our monthly documentaries give an opportunity to discover and discuss in french social issues which are not often presented in the mainstream distribution, as for example in the series L'Afrique se filme
We also offer a variety of social programs available to members and non-members revolving around traditions such as the La galette des rois and Beaujolais Nouveau
