[ Movies at AF Halifax]

Come and enjoy selection of francophone movies (free entrance), twice a month at
AF, 5509 Young Street.

Projections of movies, followed by discussions, are regularly organized either on site at AF, on Young Street, or outside (university campuses, Parklane theatre, Art Gallery of Nova-Scotia)

They feature contemporary French movies year-round. Members and non-members are all welcome to the shows.

We regularly participate to francophone movies festivals such as DiversCine , sponsored by the French Embassy and Canadian Heritage, which bear witness to the cultural diversity the francophone world.

Such festivals provide an exposure to widely different cultural contexts with movies shot in Madagascar, Armenia, Marocco or France...

Each month, we alternate a cine-club evening ,with the Universciné program, and a documentary subtitled in English. All these events are free - you are simply invited to contribute what you wish, in order to help us to maintain these activities.

You can use he left menu of this page to see which movies or documentaries are scheduled, as well as detailed information on the other cultural activities that we organize with our partners

For more info, call us at 455 4411
