The Alliance Française d'Halifax is the only non-profit language and cultural center in Nova-Scotia. The Alliance specializes in teaching French classes at all levels and ages. Classes are taught by native French speakers. The Alliance also holds many francophone cultural activities such as: wine tastings, film series, art exhibits, book presentations, and is home to a French Resource Center with over 3,500 books, films, and CD’s. The Alliance is headquartered Paris with 1,100 locations world-wide.
