Registration procedure

To register for the TEF CANADA, the TEFaq, the TEF pour la naturalisation, or the TEF you may:

  • Come to our reception desk in person during our regular business hours,

OR

  • Mail us your application package to: Alliance Française of Ottawa – tests and certificates – 352 Maclaren Street, Ottawa, ON, K2P 0M6.

Your application must be completed BEFORE THE REGISTRATION DEADLINE (please refer to Calendar 2018), and contain ALL the following documents:

  • Registration form, properly filled out, dated and signed:  Download the registration form.
  • A photocopy of a piece of identification (TEF Canada: valid passport only; TEF, TEFaq and TEF Naturalisation: passport, driver’s license, permanent resident card, etc.) showing full name, photo, date of birth and signature.
  • A certified cheque or money order for the full amount required upon registration. Registration in person at the Alliance Française office: debit, Visa, Mastercard, cash or personal cheque accepted.
  • TEF, TEF Canada and TEF Naturalisation: To order a duplicate of the certificate of results: add $75.00 to your payment.
  • TEFaq: you will receive a free certificate of results by email. To order a duplicate of the certificate of results: add $75.00 to your payment.
  • A pre-stamped envelope (13”x10”) with sufficient postage charges with your full name and complete address. Registered mail only (i.e. Priority™ or Xpresspost™). Collection of the certificate of results in person at the Alliance Française office: no return envelope necessary.

IMPORTANT:

INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS AND/OR APPLICATIONS SENT BY EMAIL WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
