Sign up for private one-on one tutoring and get the best possible training, completely adapted to your needs and goals. These tailor-made courses are designed to help you reach your own objectives, at your own pace. From Beginner to Advanced, for personal or professional needs, private courses are a highly personalised method of learning French:

  • Free placement test to assess your current level and better define your objectives and the course content;
  • Personalised training plan based on your current level and needs;
  • Flexible learning environment, at our downtown , or your office (on-site fee will apply);
  • Part-time or full-time schedule, from Monday to Saturday, all year long;
  • Highly qualified experienced instructors ongoing regular training to satisfy your learning style;
  • Access to free Wi-Fi and to our numerous resources (online Culturethèque and at our centre) to enhance your improvements.

New students must take a free placement test to determine their level.
Group classes: registration is spread over a 3 week period before the beginning of each session.

FREE PLACEMENT TEST
Please complete the free online placement test followed by a complimentary oral assessment with an instructor. To reserve an appointment for your oral assessment, please call our reception desk at 613-234-9470/221.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Minimum 20 hours per contract and a minimum of a 2-hour lesson per week.
5 business days’ advance notice required for class cancellations and/or schedule modifications.
Written confirmation must be received minimum 2 business days prior to the first scheduled lesson.

READY TO START?
New students must first be assessed to determine their level. Take the free online placement test followed by an assessment with an instructor: compulsory for all new students, it can be performed over the phone or in person at our location: call us at 613-234-9470 (extension 221) to book an appointment, or email us at info@af.ca.

Courses designed for anyone who wishes to reach or maintain levels A, B or C for the Second Language Evaluation of the Public Service Commission of Canada.

Three group formats:

  • Preparation for SLE-Tests of Reading Comprehension & Written Expression
  • Preparation for SLE-Test of Oral Proficiency – level B
  • Preparation for SLE-Test of Oral Proficiency – level C

These courses are offered to advanced students or students who have completed level B1.1. New students must take the free placement test.
