TEF

Organized by the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry and approved by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC), the TEF aims to assess the level of French language of people who are not native French speakers.

The TEF is neither a diploma nor a certificate. This means that it is impossible to fail the TEF.

The TEF is widely recognized by business firms and educational institutions.

The TEF uses a large variety of exercises to assess the candidates' written and oral skills. Comprehension and communication skills and rates the candidates' quantitative and qualitative performance.
The TEF results are comprehensive and personally analyzed.

The test consists of

 

3 Compulsory Sections (2h10)

Reading comprehension / Listening Comprehension / Vocabulary and Structures

 

2 Optional Sections (1h35)
(only for people who are sitting the compulsory tests)

Written Expression / Oral Expression
