FALL 1 SESSION PROGRAM
Alliance Française Ottawa offers 4 French workshops to help you put your French skills into practice and gain confidence:
FRENCH GRAMMAR French workshops
The Grammar B1 – intermediate level workshop offers you different themes per session to allow you to practice certain grammatical points.
Objectives:
- Work on topical themes and authentic documents
- Reinforce knowledge of French grammar
- Improve writing skills
New students must take the orientation test.
Oral (FRENCH speaking)
ORAL A2
The workshop program is based on themes from everyday life, different each session, to help students improve their oral skills by enriching their lexicon. Discussions will focus on simple everyday communication situations to encourage oral exchanges between students.
Objectives:
- Acquire fluency in everyday conversation
- Develop oral expression skills
- Enrich vocabulary
ORAL B1
The workshop program is based on the study of authentic documents on a variety of themes, to work on oral production and listening comprehension. Discussions will focus on everyday themes, different each session, to encourage oral exchanges between students.
Objectives:
- Acquire fluency in everyday conversation
- Develop the ability to express oneself orally on a variety of topics
- Enrich vocabulary
- Practice understanding and discussing French-language audiovisual programs (commercials, series, etc.)
New students must take the orientation test.
ORAL B2
The Oral B2 workshop offers a program based on the study of authentic documents to work on oral production and listening comprehension. Discussions will focus on everyday themes, different each session, to encourage oral exchanges between students.
Objectives:
- Acquire fluency in conversation on a variety of everyday topics
- Develop the ability to express oneself orally by tackling a variety of themes and debating topical issues.
- Enrich and deepen vocabulary
- Understand and discuss French-language audiovisual programs (commercials, series, etc.)
New students must take the orientation test.
